Duette Contact Lenses

Duette lenses combines 2 types of contact lens materials into one unique lens.
They are all custom made for your eyes to give you truly uncompromised vision.

The aspheric GP center delivers clear, high definition vision with greater depth of focus and compensates for corneal astigmatism.

The soft silicone hydrogel skirt provides all-day comfort and oxygen transmission.

Hybrid platform offers both centration and stability.

SoftCushion comfort technology enhances tear exchange and lens movement, providing all-day comfort.

Duette HD lenses’ unique design can correct up to 5 diopters of corneal astigmatism better than regular toric lenses, especially for patients with lens rotation issues.

Duette also comes in a Progressive multifocal design, perfect for those patients with both corneal astigmatism and near vision requirements.

Insertion

Duette HD lenses are inserted like soft lenses.  There is no need to put solution in the bowl of the lens or use any special tools.

Pull up on your upper eyelid with the index or middle finger of one hand and pull down on your lower lid with the ring finger of the hand holding the lens. Gently place the lens on the eye.

Balance the contact lens on 2 or 3 fingers!

Two-Finger Method:

Place the lens between your index and middle fingers and gently place the lens directly onto the cornea.

Tripod Method:

Pinch together your thumb, index and middle fingers to support the lens as you gently place the lens directly onto the cornea.

Using a DMV (Plunger): Place the lens on the cup of the DMV and guide it towards your eye.
To clean the DMV:

  • rinse it thoroughly with hot water and allow it to air dry.
  • Or soak it in multipurpose solution.

Removal

Pull up your upper eyelid with one hand and pull down you lower lid with the ring finger on the other hand.  With dry fingers, pinch bottom of the soft skirt at the 5 & 7 o’clock position while keeping the pads of your fingers together. Like picking up lint off your clothes.

Alternative Method: With your index finger on the top lid and middle finger of your other hand on the bottom lid, gently apply lid pressure to lift up the lens, just like removing a rigid gas permeable lens.

Recommended replacement schedule for Duette HD lenses is every 6-12 months.

Please allow 1-3 weeks for delivery when ordering your replacement lenses. For this reason it is recommended to always have a backup pair of lenses on hand in case of loss or damage.
