CLA Contact Lens Technicians Ltd was first established in New Westminster, British Columbia to provide complete contact lens and eyewear solutions for all types of eye conditions.

We specialize in contact lenses for hard to fit corneas and medically necessary contact lenses. Our staff are Licensed Opticians in good standing with the College of Opticians of British Columbia. We are experienced in fitting and have over 15 different styles of custom contact lenses, including:

Custom Soft CLs

Aspheric, Astigmatic, Multifocal,

Astigmatic Multifocal

Specialty Soft CLs

Kerasoft Thin (IC), NovaKone,

SoflexSoft K (not available in Canada)

Corneal Gas Permeable CLs

Spheric, Toric, Bi-Toric, Progressive, Multifocal, Intra-limbal, Post surgical, Rose K2 (KC Style)

Hybrid CLs

Duette (MF), SynergEyes iD (MF), UltraHealth (FC), SynergEyes A, SynergEyes PS,

Scleral CLs

Zenlens (RC), Ampleye, MSD

Clear Care and Clear Care Plus are currently out of stock due to labour and material shortages. Alcon Canada is expecting to regain inventory by mid-2023.

In the meantime:

    • If you have monthly disposable contact lenses, please switch to either RevitaLens or BioTrue Advance.
    • If you have customer lenses that are 3 months to annual replacement, please switch to either RevitaLens or BioTrue Advance for daily cleaning. Once a week, please use an extra strength daily cleaner, such as Lens Fresh, to help remove the protein.
    • If you have Gas Permeable lenses, please switch to either Boston Advance or X-Stat II cleaner. You may rinse and store the lens in multi-purpose contact lens solutions.
