As per College of Opticians BC, “In-person services must only be conducted when the anticipated benefits of such services outweigh the risks to the patient and the health care provider.” We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

To protect both you and our staff, we are scheduling 1 patient per hour. This allow us to properly sanitize the office, exam chairs, and equipment between patients.

  • When you arrive, our door should be open.

  • We will show you into the exam room directly to minimize unnecessary contact.

  • Hand washing station is available in the office.

  • Kindly wear a mask or other kind of face coverings.

  • Please come to your appointment alone. (Exceptions: Interpreter or parent of a minor)

For Eyeglasses:

  • Please allow our staff to help you with selecting a frame. We will put aside any frames you tried on for sanitization.

To protect you and our staff:

  • Will wear a mask if we need to be within 2 meters of you.

  • Wash our hands between helping each patient.

  • Sanitize equipment/tools, including credit card terminals, used with Lysol wipe prior to each patient.

  • Due to the size of our office, to practice responsible physical distancing, we will only allow 3 people and 2 staff in the office at any given time.

If you have any of the following symptoms, please rebook your appointment and self-isolate:

  • Fever, new cough, or difficulty breathing, sore throat, runny nose

  • Muscle aches, fatigue, headache

  • If you or someone in your household have traveled anywhere outside of Canada, including United States, within 14 days.

If you need to pick up your contact lenses, please call ahead to confirm the office is open or have them shipped to your home. We will be checking our email:, even when the office is closed. Please email us if you have any questions.

Thank you for your understanding!
